Founded 26 years ago by an Iranian-American family settled in Napa, Darioush showcases quality with its signature Cabernet Sauvignon. The nose is dark, brooding, and angular in nature, with cassis, black cherries, dark chocolate, and sage notes. The still dark palate leans into tertiary flavours of dark chocolate, cedar, and warming spices. The tannins are squarely at the forefront of this wine and do not hold back. It is an assertive wine and welcome on the table next to a freshly grilled rib-eye steak.
