A blend of 60% Clairette, 20% Grenache Blanc and 10% each Bourboulenc and Roussanne, the 2018 Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc Cuvée Réservée is in a wonderful drinking window right now, blending honeyed-peach richness with citrusy freshness. Medium to full-bodied, it's round upfront, but gradually narrows to gain focus and length on the finish, adding elegant hints of fennel along the way. (Joe Czerwinski)
Delightful honeysuckle and tangerine aromas perfume this limpid unaoked white. A Clairette-dominant blend augmented by Grenache Blanc, Bourboulenc and Roussanne, it's fresh on its feet but juicy and lusciously textured, too. A particularly thirst-quenching wine that's best enjoyed now–2024. (Anna Lee C. Iijima)
