It has a beautiful nose of pure ripe blackcurrants, leafy tobacco, lead pencil, and chocolate that carries to a layered, medium to full-bodied, gorgeous balanced 2018 that does everything right. It's certainly approachable today given its purity and balance, but this is going to age gracefully for upwards of two decades.

This deep, saturated and complex wine offers opulent aromas of mahogany, blueberries and espresso. The palate brings on dark chocolate, black currants and mint wrapped in velvety, fine-grained tannins. Excellent concentration and layering make it extra appealing to sip.
