A vibrant, lively red, this boasts cherry, raspberry and floral aromas and flavors, accented by toasty oak. Deftly balanced and persistent, firming up nicely in the end, with terrific length and freshness. Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. Best from 2024 through 2042. 4,200 cases made, 4,000 cases imported.

Crazy nose of blackberries and red chilies follow through to a full-bodied palate with chewy yet polished tannins that expand in the mouth, giving it a velvety texture. Extremely long and flavorful. Turns compact. Give it time to open. Try in 2024.

The 2018 Valdisanti is a blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Cabernet Franc. Vibrant and nuanced, it offers up an exotic array of blackberry, lavender, spice, mocha, new leather and licorice, all in a mid-weight style that balances richness and energy. This, too, is nicely done.
